The Tea Cosy

First up on our list is the classic English-style high tea at The Tea Cosy in The Rocks. Tucked away in a heritage building, this quaint little tea shop offers a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries, all served with your choice of aromatic tea or coffee. The Tea Cosy is known for its famous Devonshire scones which are freshly baked on site each day and served with double thick cream, because thick cream is just not enough. Choose from a wide selection of jams, from Rhubarb to Pear & Vanila and Lemon Curd. The perfect place to while away an afternoon with friends!

Altitude

Located on the 36th level of the Shangri-La Hotel, indulge in Altitude's stunning views of the harbour, including Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Accompanying the views are the most fluffy scones coupled with clotted cream and house-made jam. Enjoy both sweet and savoury treats, from pulled duck leg and lemon ricotta tart to raspberry pavlova and passionfruit eclair.

Gunners' Barracks

Gunners' Barracks is another great option for high tea in Sydney. This historic venue offers a traditional afternoon tea service, complete with scones, clotted cream, and finger sandwiches. Gunneres' Barracks also boasts a whopping 41 specialty teas to choose from. Best of all, enjoy the enchanting waterfront view and breathe in the fresh ocean air with outdoor seating. The 180 degree views of the harbour are simply stunning.
